There’s hope, real hope. For the first time I actually think this may come together in some semblance of what I had hoped to create. With Hank and Sunny putting in the sheet rock on walls & ceilings--taping, and now having them completely textured and ready for paint, it has taken on the actual look and feel of a wonderful to-be beach house! I can’t wait to get it painted---beautiful robin egg blue ceilings against clean white walls and trim; light and medium teal walls and ceilings in the master bedroom & bath, playing off white trim and doors; and once that is done, the gorgeous new Country Pine Allure floors, tying it all together.
Saw a gorgeous room sized rug at Salvation Army today on the way home. May have to check it out big time if still there tomorrow. We were coming home after digging out roots and soil in order to plant 8 salvias and an agapanthas in the left front garden area. Have to get a couple of roses in there next…or maybe just one gorgeous rose tree, and then I can put down the plastic and ground cover making it easier to keep out weeds, grass, and the annoying Oregon Grape Holly, We have literally ripped 14 of them out by the roots. However we know we will be fighting the nasty invasive self-propogating little beasts til the ends of our days. While digging out yet another root, I noticed the roots look like Mandrake Roots…s o I know they are evil.
